Katarzyna Cantarero
Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences. Conducts research in social and cross-cultural psychology. Her main scintific interests lie in morality, especially social and cognitive processes related to lying and its' acceptance. She currently conducts cross-cultural research in 7 countries sponsored by the National Science Centre. Postgraduate member of the European Association of Social Psychology, the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology, and Cross-Cultural Research Group.
Workshop no 2: Performing research in human olfaction - smell, olfactory preferences and olfactory communication
Agnieszka Sorokowska
PhD student of psychology (University of Wroclaw). Her main research interests are social, cross-cultural and evolutionary psychology. She co-authored nine articles published in scientific journals from JCR list. She also received scientific scholarships sponsored by the European Union and Foundation for Polish Science (FNP). Agnieszka Sorokowska conducted studies among indigenous tribes of Himba (Namibia), Yali (Papua Zachodnia) and Tsimane (Boliwia). Currently she conducts research regarding olfactory communication sponsored by National Science Centre (NCN).

Mikael Julius Sømhovd
Ph.D. Fellow at Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen. He worked in Department of Health Sciences/Department of Psychology at University of Tromsø, in University Hospital of Northern Norway and in Norwegian Institute for Alcohol and Drug Research. He is co-author of 13 articles published in scientific journals (e.g. Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, Plos One, Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology) and conference proceedings.
This workshop will render for the participant a toolbox to critically read systematic reviews with meta-analysis in general and meta-analyses of observational studies in particular.
